Friendship...so beautiful!

4 July, around 8 PM: Shiv, Shaweta and I meet. Shaweta is shifting to Mumbai. We go yap-yap and laugh away to glory at all our stooopid old jokes. I question, after 2-3 years will we be at a position to sit like this? We never know we are sitting at 3 different locations and would we be able to sms each other? Forget about calling or meeting up like this...We go nostalgic but manage to change the topic, cherish our friendship and continue with our jokes.

4 July, around 9-30 PM: We are having our pizzas and Shaweta misses Rosy. The world knew about their friendship. But something had just spoiled the whole thing. Reminded me of a bad phase that I and Shiv had faced. We try and console Shaweta, making up for Rosy's absence. We know how she is missing her right now and everyday but we know that we can't help it. Just wish that things come to normal again and they again are close to each other as they always were. Reminds me of the need of that one closest friend always in your life and how I cherished that I and Shiv were together again!

4 July, around 11 PM: Rishabh's b'day. He is dropping me home. I ask him about his day. He tells me about his friend for 12 odd years who manages to be the first one to wish him every year, even though they meet after 3-4 years at times. Commendable I must say! I smiled and thought about Shiv, and how she would also always want to be the first one to wish me on my b'day. She made it a point to always confirmed from me if she was the first one to wish me, I lied at times, obviously I never wanted her to know that she was some seconds late. I knew this would break her heart and it did not matter what time she wished me, she knows that for me my b'day starts from the time she wishes me. She also make it point to get my fav. choc. cake every year. Again I cherish our friendship.

3 days later, 7 July: I am bored and plan to check out the blog updates. Anupma's recent post made me again get back to the friendship and love that I and Shiv have. It made me go back to the good old days of our college, summer job, internship and training fights, disagreements and discussions irritations and admirations marriage propsals and denials protectiveness and possessiveness crushes, loves and heart breaks smokes and fires advices, phone-bangs, no talks and patch-ups buck-ups and many more such things...the list is never ending.

*B-I-G H-U-G*

This is to US Shiv...here's wishing us a never-ending and long lasting friendship and love for each other. I am just so glad to have a friend like you, who is more like a Mother than a friend and well...for whom at times I get to become a Mother and scold her, which is very few but still gives me kicks! :-p

*HUG* love you always...
